Established in 2011, the Larned Alumni Association exists to organize, sponsor and host events pertinent to all alumni of Larned area schools in collaboration with community organizations, schools and businesses. With a dedicated website at www.larnedalumni.org, alumni and former and present school staff are welcome to join the free website to connect to other alumni and staff, as well as be informed of ongoing activities and projects in the area relevant to their hometown, regardless of their current proximity to Larned. The Association promotes, participates and supports community activities and projects with fund-raising, volunteerism, and sharing opportunities with its membership.
The primary event developed by the Association is the Larned All School Reunion, launched in 2013, and held every four years with the third reunion scheduled for May 27th through 29th, 2022, in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce’s annual Santa Fe Trail Days in Larned. The diversity of the event participants spanning more than 70 years and 4 generations, the unique draw of the event lends itself to many hours of reminiscing and making new memories in the hometown.
